Who Am I- Rashaun
My name is Rashaun 😊
A little history:
I was born and raised here in Hawaii. I mostly grew up in Central O’ahu. I graduated from Leilehua High School in 2013 and then from Hawaii Medical College in 2015. I am a Certified Medical Assistant and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and have been working in Ophthalmology for almost 5 years now!
What do you do in your free time:
In my free time I enjoy binge watching TV shows, trying new food, hanging out with my friends and spending time with my son and daughter.
What do you do for PRC:
I’m currently a technician here at PRC. It is my job to prepare patients to see Dr. Tafoya; this includes taking history/checking vision/eye pressure and diagnostic testing. My goal is to learn as much as I can so I can continue to care for our patients and help our practice strive.
How long have you been working at PRC:
I’ve been working for PRC for less than a year but it definitely feels like much longer! I’m so grateful to be apart of this team and to work with Dr. Tafoya and the staff.
What is your favorite thing about PRC:
It’s so hard to narrow down my favorite thing about PRC because I have so many! Most of all I love being able to continue to help and care for patients. I’m also very appreciative to work with such an amazing group of people. The work environment here is so refreshing and literally like no other. I continue to learn something new everyday from the staff and especially from Dr. Tafoya. In my time here I’ve come to see that not only the patients but also the staff are greatly cared for here at PRC.
