Face Masks Required

By Pacific Retina Care

-By Tammy

Beginning Monday you are required to wear a face covering in all essential businesses. What does that mean?  If you feel you need to be seen by Dr Tafoya, you will need to wear some sort of face covering. Hawai’i does not suggest surgical masks or N-95’s as we should save them for medical professional. If you do not have a mask, we will give you one. But you must wear a face covering to be seen in our clinic.

Here are some clinic do’s and don’ts:
Do wear a mask or some sort of face covering.
Do use our Curbside Waiting Room.
Do wash you hands for 20 seconds upon entry.
Do allow us to open doors for you and please avoid touching anything as much as possible.

Don’t come if you have a fever.
Don’t come if you are sick.
Don’t come if you’ve recently traveled.
Don’t come if any of the above apply to someone who lives with you.
Don’t bring more than one other person to help you.

Stay safe!

If you are a first responder or essential employee I would suggest that you look into Facemasks4Hawaii on Facebook.  This amazing group has donated over 3000 masks to Hawaii Nei.  An anonymous donor gave to Pacific Retina Care and in return I donated to Foodland Waipio.  If you sew I would ask you to consider joining and making masks for those who need.
