COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

Things seem to be changing day by day.  We at Pacific Retina CareSM are trying to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  Unlike dentistry and general ophthalmology, most of our care is not routine.  So we will stay open for you.  But we need you to work with us.  If you believe that your retina condition is unchanged and your vision is still good, you should call us to reschedule.  If you are ill or elderly, likewise you should call us to reschedule.

As I mentioned before, we will be here for you if you feel that your vision is worse.  You will see many changes here.  We need your cooperation.  We will require you to wash your hands before being seen.  We will ask you not to touch counter tops or door handles.  The most inconvenient change is that we will only allow patients into the clinic. Of course, if you require assistance we will not restrict access.  But most friends and family must wait outside.  As you might recall, we have a very detailed Patient Information Sheet that we give every patient upon exit.  So please share this with loved ones who can not join you for your visit. And add them to your Release of Information at our front desk.  Then, they can call us and ask all the questions that they desire.

Thank you for your understanding.  We need to do what we can to prevent the spread of this dreadful virus.  But we need your cooperation.  We wish you nothing but the best!  Stay safe! Mahalo nui loa!
