So, see your primary care doctor on a regular basis; get your eyes check AND dilated regularly; keep your glucose under control; and take good care of YOU!
I am happy to see that the ADA is trying to educate our primary care doctors and staff. They are the front-line to preventing and controlling diabetic eye disease.
I have been in a quandary as to what to do for Holiday gifts for referring doctors this year. Who needs candy or cookies? I have been toying with the idea of donating money in honor of each referring doctor. Because I am so grateful to the ADA in their attempt to educate, I have decided to add them to my list.
